Shave for a cure - Poppy

“LEXIE , LEXIE” shouted 100 school pupils. I could see Lexie‘s blue eyes blue up like big balloons. Lexie sat in the blue shaving chair smiling but I knew inside she felt jack rabbits bouncing around making her feel nervous.

Bobbie - Jo whispered to Lexie “hold onto this” it was a rubberband ball. Bobbie - Jo started to gather Lexies hair into pigtails. Then It was finally time to put the black hairdressers cape on Lexie Bobbie - Jo grabbed a pigtail and “ CHOP “ “ LEXIE , LEXIE” chanted the crowd until all was left on Lexies head was a boys haircut.

Bobbie - Jo grabbed the sharp razor and the chanting got louder and louder then the razor hit Lexie clenched her hands together like a boxer getting ready to fight and Lexie´s beautiful brown locks were gone and all was left was stubble.

I knew inside Lexie felt same old Lexie but on the outside she was worried. Then Lexie ran of the chair hugging big bear hugs then suddenly it was Romilly´s turn.
